Today's Tasks

- Gather articles that I will use for my notetaking and webliographies.

Today, I found a few articles on poetry, and I did my first webliography:

Pollick, Michael. "What is Free Verse?." http://www.wisegeek.com. 2008. Conjecture Corporation. 19 May 2008 .
This website gives you the history of free verse poetry in a nutshell. It provides the definition of free verse poetry and it also acknowledges a lot of famous poets that are known for using the method in their pieces frequently. I read a little about Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, William Blake, Artur Rimbaud, Carl Sandburg, Robert Frost, Amy Lowell, Edna St.Vincent Millary, Dorothy Parker, Ezra pound, and e. e. cummings. I know a handful of these poets, but there was a few of them. This website is very helpful because now I can research the poets that I don’t know and check out at some of their pieces of work. If I find something interesting about them I can put it in my paper.
